Maple Syrup Muffins – Grandma Radle

1 egg

½ cup milk

½ cup maple syrup

¼ cup melted butter

2 cups flour

4 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt


Beat egg until light and fluffy. Blend in milk, syrup and butter. Mix well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and stir into liquid mixture. Mix until batter is smooth. Bake in a greased muffin tin in a preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
